Selected as one of the best percussionists and recording artists in the world by DRUM! and The New York Times, Alessandra Belloni, is a virtuoso of Southern Italian percussion and ritual dance.She has devoted her career to preserving the rich cultural traditions of Southern Italy,ancient Greece,Andalusia,N African & Calabria culture, creating a spellbinding web offering of the ecstatic tarantella ritual. With her company she has performed at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, and the Getty Center.
